Ellensburg Arts Commission: Promoting the Arts in Ellensburg, WA
The objective of this project was to create a website that promotes the visual and performing arts in Ellensburg, Washington (WA) and to provide the public with information regarding the Ellensburg Arts Commission. TJonesWEB was responsible for website design and development, handled the logo redesign, helped to determine the site architecture, and provided photographs of local scenes.
The site features: recent news articles, an arts calendar, a map of Art Walk Venues, a virtual tour of local galleries, an image gallery of artwork owned by the city, an image gallery of submissions by local artists, and local links. The site recognizes the recipients of the annual Art Treasure award and provides information on Becoming an Art Walk venue as well as a variety of downloadable forms. Incorporated into the website is a content management system (CMS) which allows the commission members to update the text, calendar, and gallery images.
