Ellensburg Arts Commission: Promoting the Arts in Ellensburg, WA
The objective of this project was to create a website that promotes the visual and performing arts in Ellensburg, Washington (WA) and to provide the public with information regarding the Ellensburg Arts Commission. TJonesWEB was responsible for website design and development, handled the logo redesign, helped to determine the site architecture, and provided photographs of local scenes.
The site features: recent news articles, an arts calendar, a map of Art Walk Venues, a virtual tour of local galleries, an image gallery of artwork owned by the city, an image gallery of submissions by local artists, and local links. The site recognizes the recipients of the annual Art Treasure award and provides information on Becoming an Art Walk venue as well as a variety of downloadable forms. Incorporated into the website is a content management system (CMS) which allows the commission members to update the text, calendar, and gallery images.
Subterfuge Seattle: Because All of Life Happens in the Penthouse or on the Street
Subterfuge Seattle is Seattle, Washington's first online fashion and arts magazine. The website features bi-monthly articles, a blog that follows Seattle's parties and people, and an editor's blog. It is powered by the Drupal content management system which allows users with little or no HTML knowledge to upload and maintain the site content. The online magazine is ad driven and features a sidebar that cycles through ads and keeps track of ad statistics including click throughs.
Gary Galbraith: Custom Furniture Designer
Gary Galbraith, a custom furniture designer, needed a website to showcase his work in a credible manner and to help generate new business. The website features high quality images of Gary's furniture and encourages the viewer to contact Gary in order to commission new pieces. Our responsibilities included site architecture, web design and development, logotype design, image optimization, copy editing, and site maintenance.
Waggin' Tails Ranch: A Country Resort for Dogs
Located in the beautiful Kittitas Valley just outside of Ellensburg, Washington (WA) Waggin' Tails Ranch provides lodging, daycare, and boarding for dogs. Some of the website features include class schedules, rates, useful resources, and downloadable forms. TJonesWEB developed the site architecture, created the logo and site design, handled the HTML markup and CSS styling as well as being responsible for site maintenance.
Impeccable: Image and Style
Impeccable is an image and style company based in Seattle, Washington (WA) whose services are designed to help individuals and companies develop a presence that is stylish, intelligent and flawless. The intent of the website is to offer fashion insights, promote the services provided by Impeccable, and to provide branding appropriate to the companies image. TJonesWEB designed and developed the site, brand, logo, and collateral print material as well as providing site maintenance.
The Country Garden
The Country Garden is a family owned business nestled in the foothills of the Cascade mountain range (Cle Elum, Washington) which specializes in handcrafted soaps, bath and body products, and garden enhancements. The Country Garden website is an ecommerce solution which allows the business to extend its reach beyond traditional retail outlets and farmer's markets. TJonesWEB handled the original ecommerce development and continues to provide site maintenance.
ReThink Higher Education/Passport: The Degree Program for Unique Learners™
ReThink Higher Ed, based in Issaquah, Washington (WA), offers consulting on curriculum, organizational change, and funding models for colleges and universities to help develop comprehensive, inclusive programs for students challenged with intellectual disabilities and learning disabilities. The website is designed to encourage universities and colleges to implement the degree program developed for unique learners. TJonesWEB was responsible for website design, HTML markup and continues to maintain the site.
QuiltCut: Fabric Cutting System
QuiltCut, located in Ellensburg, Washington (WA), provides a patented fabric cutting system for quilters. The QuiltCut website is an ecommerce application that allows for online sales, but also provides illustrated instructions, informational videos and downloadable content as well as supplying directions to live demos and info on how to make purchases via local sales representatives. TJonesWEB handled the redesign of this website with a focus on reorganization of the site architecture and the integration of what were originally two separate sites.
Dahlia: Belly Dancer
Dahlia is a nationally renowned belly dancer who both entertains and teaches in the greater Seattle, Washington (WA) area. She was in need of a website to promote her show dates, encourage bookings, and to provide class information for her students. The site features many beautiful photographs of Dahlia in full regalia. TJonesWEB provided website design, HTML markup, logo development, image optimization, and copy editing as well as providing site maintenance and updates.
